Marmalade House Design is a design and lifestyle company based in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath. Led by Vanessa Sayce, our visionary founder, we offer a unique and fresh approach to developing interior spaces, at home or commercially, influenced by our own house style.
We are a company with colour and creativity at it’s heart, blending collaboration and our wealth of professional expertise to see your project though from start to finish.

Our Story So Far
Vanessa is a professional interior designer with a background in publishing, art, styling and painting. She began Marmalade House Design in 2011 to fulfil a life-long ream of bringing together the skills and services she loves. The company ethos is to offer an ethical, creative and impactful vision to clients to help them achieve their individual design goals.
Marmalade House Design has since grown into an award-winning, highly respected design company with clients from London, France, the Cotswolds and the breadth of the South West . Featured heavily in the press and with a wealth of experience, our plans for developing the company into the future are exciting and ongoing. You can follow our journal here.
Our Projects
Over the years, our projects have been many and varied. From whole-house interior design projects, to painting the insides of a long boat, we have adapted and developed our skill set.
Each project is carried out with the same attention to detail, and with carefully thought-though creative vision. Our clients needs are our priority, and whether we need to source wallpaper from the USA, or have a room party-ready in a short space of time, we take great pride and pleasure in delivering our clients individual requirements to the highest of standards.
